Reinharz moated castle

The moated castle of Reinharz, surrounded by woods and water, looks like a fabulous fairytale castle.

The castle park with its surrounding water features invites you to linger with its rare trees.
Between 1690 and 1701, Heinrich von Löser, hereditary marshal of the Electorate of Saxony, had a representative moated castle with a baroque park, castle pond and brewery pond built to provide the nobility with suitable accommodation during their hunts in the Düben Heath.
