Gravel tour through the Düben Heath
A round trip to Lake Goitzsche as far as FERROPOLIS and through the Düben Heath Nature Park, which is best ridden on a gravel bike.

Tour
You won't be disappointed on the first few kilometers. From Bad Düben, you cycle along the Mulde cycle path past the large Goitzsche Lake, where you will find your first swimming opportunity - so make sure you pack your swimming gear in summer. Shortly afterwards, you pass the Muldenstein pipe works, an interesting lost place directly on the Mulde. The route then continues along the cycle path and through smaller villages to FERROPOLIS, a centerpiece of industrial culture. Be sure to plan some time for this, there is a lot to see! The cycle paths around FERROPOLIS are also well developed and highly recommended for racing cyclists.
After that, it's time to let off some steam and head into the forest. The Düben Heath is an experience at any time of year; in summer, the shade is very welcome, but in autumn, it is a magnificent blaze of color. The route follows the well-signposted Berlin - Leipzig cycle path for a while, and gravel lovers will now get their money's worth. (Depending on the weather and tire width, it is better to stay on the main paths here). If you want to jump into the cool water again, you can do so shortly before the finish at the Hammermühle natural swimming pool, before returning to Bad Düben for ice cream or fries at the latest.
In fall or winter, the Heide Spa in Bad Düben is a great alternative to warm up and relax.
