Luckenwalde

The town of Luckenwalde is one of the most beautiful excursion destinations between the charming landscapes of the Fläming and the Baruther Urstromtal.

Luckenwalde is located in the middle of the Baruth glacial valley, just 50 km from Berlin. The town offers its visitors interesting residential and industrial buildings from the Wilhelminian era, reform and Bauhaus architecture. Numerous facilities such as the town theater, local history museum, library and zoo invite you to experience culture and nature.

As a former industrial town, Luckenwalde has a number of historically valuable and historic buildings that are well worth discovering.

For nature lovers, it is also not far to the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park, where you can enjoy nature while hiking, horse riding or cycling. Sports enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation will find the Fläming thermal baths and the nearby Flaeming-Skate, the largest of its kind in Germany, a suitable alternative to culture.
