Külso Mill

Külsoer Mühle am Zahnabach is located in the middle of the "Wittenberger Vorfläming und Zahnabachtal" landscape conservation area.

Mentioned in a deed of donation in the middle of the 14th century and used as a water-powered flour mill until 1952, the mill is now a popular restaurant and a beautiful destination for excursions. Here you can experience the Fläming up close, especially with children. In the cozy farmhouse parlor, guests can expect rustic comfort, complete with original tiled stove and door frame to pull in your head. The country-style mill room seats 30 people and is very popular for family celebrations. The kitchen focuses entirely on German cuisine and hearty home cooking. In the warmer months, the 500 square meter beer garden, shaded by rustic oaks and other deciduous trees, welcomes weary hikers. Here you can always find a cozy spot with a view of the vast landscape.

At the nature adventure site, right next to the mill, young and old can learn lots of interesting facts about the nature of the Fläming and about energy and high-voltage power lines in a fun way. On the Kienbergrundweg trail, they can see species-rich fauna and flora such as beavers, nightingales, kingfishers, orioles and wild orchids.
