Diedersdorf Castle and Park
Diedersdorf Castle was built in the middle of the 18th century. The park dates from around 1900 and the castle is now used as a hotel and restaurant.
Its exterior has been altered and added to several times. This can be seen most clearly in the richly decorated neo-baroque portal from 1876. On the south side, a flight of steps leads to the castle park with a small lake and old trees. It is known that the Prussian war councillor von Kunow had the manor house built in the mid-18th century. A cross-vaulted cellar and the irregular, rather rough masonry indicate a predecessor building. Today's appearance was essentially created in the classicist style around 1800. The staircase and the elaborate portal from 1876 gave the house a "baroque" appearance. The park dates from around 1900 and the palace is now used as a hotel and restaurant.
