Dennewitz Village Museum

The Dennewitz village museum, which was opened in the former village school, has a small permanent exhibition on the Battle of Dennewitz in 1813.

It is a station on the "Battle of Dennewitz 1813" educational trail. The centerpiece of the exhibition is a diorama with 2,400 pewter figures depicting the decisive scene of the battle on September 6, 1813 at around 3.30 pm. The diorama was made from old drawings of the original, which was on display in the Hall of Fame. Joachim Albrecht Count Bülow was one of the first visitors to the museum.
