Cultural center "DAS HAUS"
In 1996, a former officers' mess was transformed into a very special cultural center.
Concerts, cabaret, readings, senior citizens' afternoons, theater projects and many celebrations fill the multifunctional rooms in the HAUS with life. The HAUS also houses the municipality of Niedergörsdorf's tourist information office and the permanent exhibition "Altes Lager - 1870 to today", which vividly illustrates the military history and the peaceful transformation of the site for civilian use since reunification.
