"Alte Aula" cultural center

Today's "Alte Aula" was given its name in 1997 and is the cultural center of the village and home to the Blankenfelde Cultural Association.

The "Alte Aula" was built from the materials of the castle, which was demolished in 1948 and was founded in the 15th/16th century as the manor house of the von der Liepe family. The former gateway to the manor house is still preserved. From 1950, the building initially housed a school and from 1986 to 1994 a kindergarten. Today's "Alte Aula" was given its name in 1997 and, with its ballroom, galleries, the art collection of the Kulturverein Blankenfelde e. V., the archive on Blankenfelde's local history and, since 2010, the "Museum Blankenfelde", is a cultural center of the village and the seat of the Kulturverein Blankenfelde e. V. In addition to marriages in the community's wedding room, various cultural events are also held every year.
